On June 9th at the District # 4 Convention held in Pittsburgh Pa., the Thermpoylae Chapter was officially recognized, and given high marks, and kind words, for our efforts in sponsoring the annual James D. Tanos Track Meet.

On July 28th, at the Supreme Convention held this year in Louisiana, the national body of AHEPA presented our Chapter with a plaque and their congratulations to our members for their 23 years of demonstrated excellence in conducting the James D. Tanos Track and Field Meet.

Like our new plaque reads, "Everyone is A Winner,"  And doubly so, when we all pitch in.
